A technique that seperate mixtures of liquids that are soluble in the same solvent.

What is the stationary phase in chromatography?
the chromatography paper
What is the mobile phase in chromatography?
the solvent - causes the dyes to move up the paper(mobile)
Explain why different coloured compounds appear at different distances from the starting position?
The spots will move to different positions or different distances because if their solubility. So the further the spot moves the more soluble it is. The less it moves the less soluble it is. If the spot doesnt move at all that means it is insoluble.
