Opposite Answer

Something that goes against the main idea/claim/opinion of the text

Extreme Language

Large generalizations— example: all instead of some— that don’t get supported by the text

Recycled Language

Uses the phrasing within the text as an answer

Right Answer, Wrong Question (RAWQ)

The answer is supported by the text, but isn’t specific to the context of the question. (What instead of why)

Inferences/Assumptions

Conclusions drawn from the text that are not explicitly stated, based on evidence or context.
Just the text would not be enough to support the idea

Half Right

An answer that contains some correct elements but fails to fully address the question or is misleading in its context.
