Outer side of the distal end of the femur

Medial epicondyle

Inner side of the distal end of the femur

Lateral condyle

Rounded outer part located at the lower end of the femur towards the outer side

Medial condyle

Rounded outer part located at the end of the femur towards the medial side

Intercondylar fossa

Deep groove located on the posterior side of the femur between the two condyles

Bony prominence located at the front of the proximal end of the tibia
