How can the number of moles be converted to the number of atoms of an element and vice versa?

  •  By using dimensional analysis.  See the picture of the mole map / highway below.  The number of moles can be converted to the number of atoms by multiplying the moles by Avogadro's number (6.022 x 10²³). Conversely, to find moles from the number of atoms, divide the number of atoms by Avogadro's number.
