Cannot visually identify an object, but can identify once using another sense
Lesions often in occipito-temporal cortex
visual agnosia
What is an impairment of voluntary, skilled, learned mvmts which is not due to strength, coordination, sensation, attention, cognitive, or behavioral deficits?
apraxia
What is the breakdown b/t concept (Idea of mvmt) & performance (execution of mvmt)?
Cannot perform task on command BUT can perform spontaneously
Lesions often in frontal or posterior parietal lobes
Ideomotor Apraxia
