Concussion
injury to the tooth supporting structure , without abnormal loosening/displacement of the tooth. Sometimes sensitive to percussion.
Subluxation
injury to the tooth supporting structure , with abnormal loosening but without displacement of the tooth. sensitive to percussion.
Lateral Luxation
the tooth is displaced labially, lingually, distally, mesially, with or without an associated apical displacement.
Extrusive Luxation
the tooth is displaced in an incisal direction, with or without a concomitant lateral luxation
Intrusive luxation
the tooth is displaced in an apical direction, into alveolar bone
Avulsion
the tooth is completely displaced out of the alveolar socket.
