Prism
A solid geometric figure with two parallel, congruent bases connected by rectangular lateral faces.
Cuboid
A three-dimensional shape composed of six rectangular faces.
Angle of elevation
The angle formed between the horizontal plane and the line of sight to an object above the horizontal plane.
Cross section
A section created by cutting through an object, showing the internal structure.
Height in Geometry
The vertical distance from the base to the top of a figure.
Isosceles triangle
A triangle with at least two equal sides.
Trapezium
A four-sided figure with at least one pair of parallel sides.
Angle between a line and a plane
The angle formed between a line and a plane is measured from the line perpendicular to the plane.
Midpoint
The point that is halfway along a line segment.
Vertical edges
Edges that are perpendicular to the base of a 3D shape.
