How quickly do you think you'd notice you were 100 years in the future?
Immediately, you could tell that lots of things would have changed. For example, one hundred years ago, the jet engine, nuclear power, the microwave oven, transistor, the computer, the internet, DNA figure printing, the mobile phone, 3D printing, artificial intelligence and much more did not exist. So, if you were one hundred years in the future then everything would be different and lots of things that the people in the future would find normal would not exist today.
Which years had the most change? 1825-1925 or 1925-2025
The years of 1825-1925 were rich in cultural and technical development such as the invention of the lightbulb, the steam engine, and the Women's Suffrage Movement. Furthermore, these years marked the revolution of the Soviet Union. 1825-1925 had World War 1. On the other hand, 1925-2025 marked World War 2, the rise of pop culture, the development of the nuclear bomb, the Cold War, the civil rights and LGBTQ+ movement, the rise of digital media, the space race, and the fall of Soviet Union. In the 1940s, nuclear energy for electricity generation and weapons was invented.
What are the easiest things to predict to happen in 10 years -and what are the hardest?
Donald Trump would have drilled through all of America's land in search for oil. Lots of wars would have ended and lots would have started and there is a possibility of World War 3. Electric cars will be everywhere, and there will be an increase in the use of AI. There will be an increase in natural disasters to global warming. Biodegradable plastics and other materials will become more popular as the ice caps, glaciers and icebergs in the Polar regions will continue to melt, and sea levels will rise consuming islands that are close to the sea.
When is it better for something to burn twice? And is there a difference between burning up, burning down, and burning with?
Something that is better to burn twice is a revolution for the repressed and what they are fighting for is not burnt out and others inspired can burn with it.
But what would it take to have your feelings about something (or somewhere or someone) re-ignited? Under what circumstances does a person leave a project, then return to it with new zeal?
A person ambition is reignited when either that their foundations of how they live their life is shut down by some other force like trying to prove to someone when they say your bad.
How do you see the future, and how does your view compare to that of your parents and other older people in your life?
I see the future as an unpredictable tornado that never dies out. This does not differ to my parents who also think that they also think that the future is unpredictable from a small eye.
If you met someone who was that certain that the future would be full of suffering, would you try to give them hope again and if so, what would you tell them?
I wouldn't try to give them hope because lots of bad things will happen to the future and when I would say things to them that would give them hope, they would stick to their beliefs and say all the things that they think will happen even if it is the minority and what will happen in the future would look.
We'll investigate them more later in this outline, but, for now, what other dead or derelict institutions, products, or trends do you think will become popular again in our lifetimes?
In these recent few years, crocs have risen again with people remembering the comfortable feeling having a wholesale sale being increased 7.6% in 2024 and reported in 2024 there was a $4.1 billion in revenue, a 3.5% increase from 2023.
Do you know anyone who has found a new lease on life in this way? How can we best support someone who is starting over again?
Best way to support a person is to validate their feeling in a way that makes them feel not judged and acknowledging how they are feeling. Be patient and understanding as it takes time to overcome as well as encouraging their goals.
