Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV)
An emissions-control method that routes unburned or partially burned fuel back into the engine’s cylinders so it can be completely burned.
Air-Injection System
Forces air into the exhaust stream to burn any unburned or partially burned fuel before it exits the tailpipe.
Catalytic Converter
A device that oxidizes hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide, converting them into water vapor and carbon dioxide.
