 Last week, I ran into an old colleague of mine.

 He told me he is not a mere office worker anymore; he is now the factory supervisor

Sono felice per lui, perché è  sempre stato un buon amico per me e anche se ora viviamo in città diverse e abbiamo lavori diversi, possiamo passare tempo insieme e giocare a tennis nello stesso centro sportivo dove giocavamo

 I am happy for him, because he was always a good friend to me and even if we live in different cities and have different jobs now, we can hang out and play tennis in the same sports centre where we used to play
