Technical Sketching
The process of producing a rough, preliminary drawing representing the main features of a product or structure.
Pictorial Sketch
A sketch that communicates technical information in a form that is easy to visualize.
Shaded Sketch
A rendered sketch used for technical illustrations.
The three types of grids used for sketching are:
Square, Isometric, and Perspective.
Tracing Paper
A semitranslucent paper used to trace technical drawings, also known as trash paper.
