Comparing two different things using the words like or as

Metaphor
Describing something by saying it is something else even if it’s not literally true. ( no as or like )
Idiom

Personification
Giving human qualities feelings, actions or characteristics to something that isn’t human, such as an object, animal or idea
Hyperbole
Using super big exaggerated words to make a story or sentence, funnier or more exciting
Onomatopoeia
When a word sounds like the noise. It describes ( usually comic books )
