The emotional bond which forms between an infant and their primary caregiver.
Describe the secure attachment type
It's a healthy and stable bond between a child and their caregiver/s where the child feels safe, valued, calm and free because their caregiver/s are supportive, responsive, empathetic, and nurturing.
Describe the insecure attachment type
It's a unstable bond between a child and their caregiver/s when the caregiver is unresponsive, unnurturing and detached. This can cause the child to become avoidant, overly clingy, have low self-esteem and struggle with emotional regulation.

Sense of trust, feeling valued, feeling secure in expressing emotions
