Ultimate Truth of Cessation
The permanent stopping of suffering and its root, self-grasping ignorance, as taught by Buddha.
Temporary Cessation
A short-lived relief from specific sufferings that fails to eliminate their underlying causes.
Self-grasping Ignorance
The mistaken belief in an inherently existing self, regarded as the root of all suffering.
Nirvana
The supreme, permanent peace of mind that arises from realizing the ultimate truth of cessation.
Enlightenment (Great Liberation)
The pure and everlasting happiness attained when one completely overcomes suffering and guides others to do the same.

The heartfelt resolve to attain Nirvana personally rather than settling for temporary relief from suffering.
Single-pointed Concentration
Holding the chosen object of meditation firmly without distraction for as long as possible.
Modern Dangers
New threats created by advanced technology that add to worldly suffering.
Supreme Inner Peace
Another name for Nirvana, the ultimate state completely free from mental disturbance.
