Relative Location
A description of a place’s position in relation to other places, landmarks, or features using directions rather than fixed coordinates.
Longitude
A geographic coordinate that specifies the north-south position of a point on the surface of the Earth.
Latitude
A geographic coordinate that specifies the east-west position of a point on the surface of the Earth.
Equator
An imaginary line drawn around the Earth, dividing the Earth into northern and southern hemispheres.
Prime Meridian
An imaginary line drawn around the Earth, dividing the Earth into eastern and western hemispheres.
Coordinates
A set of numbers that specify a unique location on the Earth’s surface.
