Door Hardware/Accessories
Items attached to a door to enhance its functionality or appearance.
Purpose of Door Hardware/Accessories
Function (door operation), Aesthetic (door visual appearance), Extra Security (door's protective features).
Hinges
Connecting hardware that allows a door to swing open and closed, acting as a pivot point.
Butt Hinges
Most common type of hinge where one leaf is mounted to the door and the other to the door frame.
Concealed Hinges
Hinges designed to be out of sight when a door or cabinet is closed, offering a seamless appearance.
Offset Hinges
Hinges that make the door swing completely outside the door frame, increasing the width of the opening.
Strap Hinges
Hinges with two long, triangular flaps, one screwed into the moving part and the other into the stationary surface.
Piano Hinges
Long, thin hinges that span the full length of a door or lid, providing smooth motion and load distribution.
