Vitamin A
Increased intracranial pressure, nausea, headache, joint pain, coma, liver damage, birth defects in developing fetus.
Vitamin D
hypercalcemia, nausea, vomiting, muscle weakness, dehydration
Vitamin E
impaired blood coagulation and increased risk of bleeding
E = too much blEEding
Vitamin K
low potential for toxicity but increased vitamin K can decrease the effects of warfarin
pt who take warfarin must keep a consistent intake of this vitamin
Hypermagnesemia
hypotension, lethargy, muscle weakness, decreased DTR, respiratory depression, dysrhythmias, cardiac arrest
Hyperphosphatemia
same as HYPOcalcemia (positive Chvostek's and Trousseau's signs, muscle spasms)
Hyperkalemia (Potassium Excess)

hypernatremia (sodium excess)
thirst, lethargy, confusion, GI upset, muscle twitching, seizures, irritability, agitation
