Prisms are all around us boxes cereal containers fish tanks and more When we find the volume we are finding how much space is inside

Formula to Remember

V = l x w x h Volume equals length times width times height Always multiply the three sides together

Write the formula V = l x w x h

Plug in the numbers replace l w and h with the shapes measurements

Multiply them together you can multiply in any order This is called the Commutative Property
