Solubility in water and another chemical, smell, color, viscosity, density, and freezing/boiling points

Flammability
What is a qualitative observation?
An observation that doesn’t have any numbers associated with the data
What is a quantitative observation?
An observation that has numbers associated with the data
How are we going to test the flammability of the substances?
By dropping a lighted match into the substances within an evaporating dish

Pick up the bottle and gently shake it
