Aphasia

Condition where language function is defective/absent due to injury to speech center in cerebral cortex

Bradycardia

Abnormally slow HR, less than 60BPM

Bradypnea

Abnormally slow breathing rate

Cerebrovascular Accident(CVA)/Stroke

Blood flow to brain is disrupted, leading to brain damage and neuro deficits

Dysarthria

Difficulty speaking due to weak speech muscles from brain/nerve dmg and some meds

Edema

Swelling due to accumulation of fluid in interstitial spaces

Exacerbation

Increase in gravity of a disease/disorder, marked by greater intensity of signs/symptoms
