Support
A level where the price tends to stop falling and possibly bounce back up, usually marked at the close of a bearish candle.
Resistance
A level where the price tends to stop rising and potentially reverse, marked at the close of a bullish candle.
Support Becomes Resistance (SBR)
When a support level is broken, it turns into resistance.
Resistance Becomes Support (RBS)
When a resistance level is broken, it becomes support.
Quasimodo (QM)
A failed RBS or SBR that indicates potential reversal points.
Open Close Level (OCL)
The close of a series of candles of the same color, used to identify potential support or resistance.
Engulf OCL
A pattern where one candle engulfs multiple previous candles, indicating potential reversal.
One Lap OCL
A level that is one step above or below an OCL.
Left Side OCL (LS-OCL)
OCLs that act like QM patterns but are not true QMs.
Apex
Swing points (highs and lows) on the chart that are crucial for trading.
Apex Supports and Resistances
Supports and resistances identified at external swing points.
Internal Apex Break (IAB)
Refers to valid internal support and resistance levels that lead to breakouts.
First Time QM (FTQM)
Occurs when a key level becomes a QM for the first time.
Second Time QM (STQM)
If a level becomes QM again, it is referred to as STQM.
Fresh and Unfresh Levels
Fresh levels are unmitigated; unfresh levels have been used and may still be valid as rejections.
First Time Frame Level (FTFL)
The initial point the market targets after a storyline forms.
Second Time Frame Level (STFL)
Indicates potential buy or sell zones in the market based on FTFL.
Third Time Frame Level (TTFL)
Refines entry strategy and aims for small stop losses and larger take profits.
Confirmation Entries
Trade entries made when price action confirms a previous rejection or breakout.
Rejection
Occurs when price wicks through a key level but does not close beyond it.
Draw on Liquidity
Refers to where the price is expected to move next based on market structure.
Obstacles
Key levels that can block the price movement, such as swing highs/lows or RBS/SBR.
Target Placement
Determining where to aim for profit based on market structure and key levels.
