Surah Aal e Imran Ayahs 1-13

الٓمٓ

Alif-Lãm-Mĩm.

ٱللَّهُ

Allah

لَآ

no (there is)

إِلَـٰهَ

God

إِلَّا

except

هُوَ

Him

ٱلْحَىُّ

The Ever-Living

ٱلْقَيُّومُ

The Sustainer, The Self-Subsisting

نَزَّلَ

He revealed

عَلَيْكَ

upon you

ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ

book

بِٱلْحَقِّ

with truth/in (the) truth

مُصَدِّقًۭا

confirming

لِّمَا

that which

بَيْنَ

was

يَدَيْهِ

before it

وَأَنزَلَ

He sent down

قَبْلُ

before this

هُدًۭى

guidance

لِّلنَّاسِ

for people/for mankind

ٱلْفُرْقَانَ ۗ

the Criterion

كَفَرُوا۟

they disbelieved

عَذَابٌۭ

a punishment (is)

شَدِيدٌۭ ۗ

severe

عَزِيزٌۭ

All-Might

ذُو ٱنتِقَامٍ ٤

All-able of retribution

يَخْفَىٰ

is hidden

شَىْءٌۭ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ

anything/in/ the earth

ٱلَّذِى يُصَوِّرُكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْحَامِ كَيْفَ يَشَآءُ ۚ

shapes you/in/the wombs/however/He wills

مُّحْكَمَـٰتٌ هُنَّ أُمُّ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ

absolutely clear/they (are)/the foundation/of the Book

وَأُخَرُ مُتَشَـٰبِهَـٰتٌۭ ۖ

and others/(are) ones unspecific

فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ

Then as for/those/in/their hearts

زَيْغٌۭ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ مَا تَشَـٰبَهَ مِنْهُ

is deviation/they follow (so)/what/unspecific (is)/of it

وَٱبْتِغَآءَ

and seeking

تَأْوِيلِهِۦ ۗ

its interpretation

يُصَوِّرُكُمْ

shapes you

ٱلۡأَرۡحَامِ

the wombs

كَيۡفَ

how(ever)

يَشَآءُۚ

He wills

ٱلۡعَزِيزُ

The All Mighty

ٱلۡحَكِيمُ

The All-Wise

ءَايَٰتٞ

are Verses

مُّحۡكَمَٰتٌ

absolutely clear

هُنَّ

they are

أُمُّ

The foundation

وَأُخَرُ

and others

مُتَشَٰبِهَٰتٞۖ

ambiguous

فَأَمَّا

Then as for

قُلُوبِهِمۡ

their hearts

زَيۡغٞ

is perseverity

فَيَتَّبِعُونَ

(so) they follow

تَشَٰبَهَ

is ambiguous

ٱبۡتِغَآءَ

seeking

ٱلۡفِتۡنَةِ

(the) discord)

تَأۡوِيلِهِۦۖ

its interpretation

وَٱلرَّٰسِخُونَ

And those firm

يَقُولُونَ

they say

ءَامَنَّا

We believe

كُلّٞ

All

عِندِ

from

رَبِّنَاۗ

Our Lord

يَذَّكَّرُ

will take heed

أُوْلُواْ

men

تُزِغۡ

deviate

قُلُوبَنَا

our hearts

هَدَيۡتَنَا

You have guided us

وَهَبۡ

and grant

لَنَا

for us

لَّدُنكَ

Yourself

رَحۡمَةًۚ

mercy

ٱلۡوَهَّابُ

are the Bestower

جَامِعُ

will gather

ٱلنَّاسِ

the mankind

لِيَوۡمٖ

on a Day

رَيۡبَ

doubt

يُخۡلِفُ

break

ٱلۡمِيعَادَ

the Promise

كَفَرُواْ

disbelieve(d)

لَن

never

تُغۡنِيَ

will avail

عَنۡهُمۡ

for them

أَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡ

their wealth

أَوۡلَٰدُهُم

their children

شَيۡـٔٗاۖ

anything

وَقُودُ

(the) fuel

ٱلنَّارِ

the fire

كَدَأۡبِ

Like behaviour

ءَالِ

of the people

فِرۡعَوۡنَ

of Firaun

قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ

before them

كَذَّبُواْ

They denied

فَأَخَذَهُمُ

so seized them

بِذُنُوبِهِمۡۗ

for their sins

شَدِيدُ

is severe

ٱلۡعِقَابِ

(in the) punishment

قُل

to say

سَتُغۡلَبُونَ

You will be overcome

وَتُحۡشَرُونَ

and you will be gathered

وَبِئۡسَ

and an evil

ٱلۡمِهَادُ
