Zoo veterinarians treat usually much larger, exotic animals. They are both responsible for treating illnesses and injuries of animals. They perform physical exams, give examinations, giving vaccines, taking blood work, administering and prescribing medication. Zoo veterinarians see their patients more frequently than domestic veterinarians
