Pre-writing

Freewriting

Revising
The stage in the writing process where the order of ideas is polished and information is filtered to effectively convey a point.
Editing
The stage where the written work is checked for basic errors in spelling, punctuation, and grammar.

Writing the final draft
The stage where the writer produces the final version of the document after revisions.
Transition
The process of incorporating coherence in the flow of ideas in writing.
