Describe your family.

La mia famiglia è composta da quattro persone: mio padre, mia madre, mia sorella e io, sono la più piccola. Ho quindici anni e mia sorella ha diciassette anni. Mio padre si chiama Paul, mia madre si chiama Helen e mia sorella si chiama Eloise. Siccome sono la più piccola, vorrei dire che sono la figlia preferita ma no, è il cane, Bella.

My family is made up of 4 people; my dad, my mum, my sister and me, I’m the youngest. I am 15 years old e my sister is 18 years old. My dad is called Paul, my mum is called Helen and my sister is called Eloise. Since I am the youngest I would like to say i’m the favourite daughter but no, it is the dog, Bella.

Who do you get along with in your family?

Di solito vado d’accordo con la mia sorella maggiore perché mi aiuta sempre quando ho problemi con i miei compiti. Però a volte mi dà ai nervi quando abbiamo passato troppo tempo insieme!

Usually I get along with my older sister because she always helps me when I have problems with my homework. However sometimes she gets on my nerves when we have spent too much time together!

Do you get along with your parents?

Normalmente vado d’accordo con i miei genitori perché mi lasciano uscire con i miei amici ogni weekend. Però a volte litigo con mio padre perché non mi ascolta, non è giusto! Vado d’accordo con mia madre perché dice sempre la verità ma può essere testarda.

Normally I get along with my parents because they let me go out with my friends every weekend. However some times I argue with my Dad because he doesn’t listen to me, it is not fair! I get along with my Mum because she always tells the truth but can be stubborn.

Perché vai d’accordo con i tuoi migliori amici?

Why do you get along with your best friends?

Vado d’accordo bene con le mie migliore amiche, si chiamano Ellie and Georgia. Mi fanno ridere sempre perché abbiamo lo stesso senso dell’umorismo.

I get along well with my best friends, the are called Ellie and Georgia. They always make me laugh because we have the same sense of humour.

Vai d’accordo con gli insegnanti?

Do you get along with your teachers?

Di solito vado d’accordo con gli insegnanti perché mi aiutano ma secondo me mi danno troppi compiti. Cerco di uscire con i miei amici e fare i compiti ma purtroppo non ho sempre abbastanza tempo per fare tutto.

Usually I get along with my teachers because they help me but in my opinion they give me too much homework. I try to go out with my friends and to do my homework but unfortunately I don’t always have enough time to do both.

Quali qualità dovrebbe avere l’amico o la tua amica ideale?

What qualities should your ideal friend have?

La mia amica ideale sarebbe onesta e positiva. La mia amica da sogno avrebbe molti bei vestiti che mi permetterebbe di portare. 

My ideal friend would be honest and positive. My dream friend would have lots of beautiful clothes that she would let me wear.

Quali sono le ragioni comuni per conflitti familiari, secondo te?

What are common reasons for family conflicts, in your opinion?

Secondo me, le ragioni per conflitti familiari sono spesso i soldi, i compiti e il trucco. Per la mia famiglia ci sono sempre confltti sulla mia camera da letto sporca

In my opinion, the reasons for family conflicts are often money, homework and makeup. For my family, there are always conflicts about my dirty room.

Che cosa hai fatto, l’ultima Volta che seu uscita con la tua famiglia?

What did you do the last time you went out with your family?

Sabato scorso la mia famiglia ed io siamo andati a Londra. Prima abbiamo guardato un      film al cinema si chiama ‘Now you see me: Now you don’t’, era molto bene ma un po’ terrificato. E poi siamo andati a Oxford Street a fare un po’ di shopping, ho comprato un vestito rosso per una festa. Di sera siamo cenato al ristorante turco a Soho. Il cibo era delizioso! Finalmente, siamo tornati a casa dopo una giornata perfetta.

Last Saturday my family and I went to London. First we watched a film at the cinema, called ‘Now you see me: Now you don’t', it was very good but a bit scary. And then we went to Oxford street to do a bit of shopping, I brought a red dress for a party. In the evening we had dinner at a Turkish restaurant in Soho.The food was delicious! Finally we returned home after a day perfect day.

Come sarebbe il tuo partner ideale?

What would your ideal partner be like?

Al mio partner ideale piacerebbero i film così potremmo andare al cinema insieme. Sopratutto, sarebbe intelligence e alto perché odio maggioranza di uomo piccolo.

My ideal partner would like films so we could go to the cinema together. Above all, he would be intelligent and tall because I hate magiority of small men.

Ti piacerebbe sposarti nel futuro? Perche/ no?

Would you like to get married in the future? Why/ why not?

A dire la verità non ci ho nemmeno pensato. Credo che vorrei sposarmi nel futuro ma per quanto mi pare non è indispensabile.

To tell the truth, I haven’t even thought about it. I believe that I would like to get married in the future but as far as i’m concerned it is not essential.
