One off production

Designing and making a single productor that is one off and made for a specific purpose

Batch production

products are identical and made at the same time in either large or small numbers. Equipment can be used to make different variants of the same product.

Mass production

product going through many stages of a production line. The workers and machines at each stage are responsible for making certain parts of the product. This allows high amount of product to be produced at the cost of high setup cost.

continuous production

The production line never stops and has high level of automation. This type of production only does a limited range of products and it is expensive to start every time
