A bill of materials (BOM) identifies the components that are necessary to produce a material.

Work center

production is triggered by the material planning process, which is concerned with ensuring that sufficient quantities of materials are always available.

Examples of PRTs are calibration or measurement instruments, jigs and fixtures, and documents such as engineering drawings.

Outcomes of goods issue in production order

The material master, general ledger accounts, and material reservations are updated. A material document and FI document are created. The actual costs associated with material consumption are calculated and added to the production order.

When does confirmation in the production process happen

When the finished goods have been produced, the person completing the work records a confirmation of the work completed in the SAP ERP system.

quantities, operations completed, durations, work center, personnel data, reason for variance

User inputs in a goods receipt

The production order number, quantity received, date, and location (plant and storage location) are provided by the user based on the completed work.

What is in a stock requirement list

identifies all of the activities in the system that can potentially impact the quantity of material in inventory.
