2.forging-making a new shoe or modifying a ready-made shoe.
3.fitting-checking the fit of the shoe and make any adjustments that could potentially be needed.
4.nailing on-The nails are driven through the white line and come out through the wall.
5.finishing-The clinches are flattened down and the edge and hoof wall are smoothed down.
Foot and Shoeing
Describe 2-3 types of common shoes feature and why the might be used(clips, square toe, pads, studs)
1-fullered or creased shoe-has a groove called a fuller or crease,in which the nail holes are set
2-Stud hole- A hole that is drilled in the shoe to provide the horse traction when in unsuitable conditions during riding but can be taken off.
3- Clips-The primary function of clips is to take strain off of the nails. They hold shoes to the feet more securely than just plain nails would. Think of nailing on horseshoes as similar to tying the laces on your shoes; applying clips to a horseshoe would be like double-knotting your laces.
4.Increased Stability and Traction: The square toe provides better traction and stability, especially on varied surfaces. For horses that perform complex movements this added traction helps prevent slipping and contributes to overall performance and stability.Dec 1, 2024

2.The shoulder should be angled around 45 to 50 degrees-
3.short canon bones-They mean stronger legs and better movement.
4.plumb line-
