Biotic
Relating to the living organism in an ecosytem.
Population
The term used when a number of a single species live in an area toegther.
Community
A group of different species, two or more.
Benefits of an ecosystem
Withstand natural disaters or removal of species, maintain balance of gases in atmosphere, polination of plants; organic matter decomposed; water cleaned.
Collaboration
A relationship between organism of the same species working toegther to ensure their survival.
Mating
The paring of a male and female of a species to produce offspring (babies).

Mutalism
A type of realtionship between two organism of different species in which both organism benefit.
Commensalism
A type of relationsip between two organisms of dafferent species, in which one organism benefits and the other is not affected. (rare)
Parasitism

prey
An animal that is hunted and killed by another (predator) for food.
Is prey and predator symbiois?
Not symbiotic, because the relationship between the organism is not long term, and it only happens when predator is hungry,
Equilibruim
balance
Dynamic
Constantly moving
Biological control
A method of controlling a population by releasing a living organism (a parsite or consumer) into an ecosytem.
