HYPOTHESES
are statements of the researcher’s expectations regarding the relationship between and among variables under investigation (Treece & Treece, 2004)

This is stated in null form that there exists no significant relationship or difference between the independent and dependent variables. Also known as Null Hypothesis(H0)
