-Hundreds were arrested mostly immigrants as they were often responsible for bribing radical views to America. Hundreds were deported gene if they’d done nothing wrong. Many arrest were made without warrants

What was the Sacco and Vanzetti Case

-When Sacco and Vanzetti were arrested police found anti-govermnt leaflets in car.

-It is thought that the judge in their trial was biased against Sacco and Vanzetti as they were Italian-born immigrant anarchists. The judge disregarded 107 witness statements that the men were somewhere else.

-There was no clear cut evidence that Sacco and Vanzetti were guilt but the judge refused to give a second trial. They were executed in 1927.
