Decimal
A fraction written in a special form, where the numerator is less than a denominator and is separated by a decimal point.
Expanded Notation
A way to write numbers that shows the place value of each digit.
Integer
Whole numbers that can be positive, negative, or zero, but not fractions.
Fraction
A part of a whole expressed using a numerator and a denominator.
Numerator
The top number in a fraction, representing how many parts are being considered.
Denominator
The bottom number in a fraction, representing the total number of equal parts.
Equivalent Fraction
Fractions that represent the same value, though they may have different numerators and denominators.
Mixed Number
A whole number combined with a fraction.
Estimate
An approximate calculation or answer based on reasonable assumptions.
Area Model
A visual representation used to illustrate multiplication and division by partitioning rectangles.
Perimeter
The total distance around a two-dimensional shape.
Angle
A figure formed by two rays, called the sides of the angle, sharing a common endpoint.
Acute Angle
An angle that measures less than 90 degrees.
Obtuse Angle
An angle that measures more than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees.
Right Angle
An angle that measures exactly 90 degrees.
Symmetry
A characteristic in which a shape or object can be divided into two identical halves.
Percent
A ratio expressed as a fraction of 100.
Variable
A symbol used to represent one or more numbers in algebra.
Quotient
The result of division.
Product
The result of multiplication.
Sum
The result of addition.
Difference
The result of subtraction.
Remainder
The amount left over after division.

Graphic representations of data or information.
Data
Information collected for analysis.
Budget
An estimation of income and expenditure for a set period of time.
