one ore more bases are added, this causes a frame shift

what is deletion mutation ?

one or more bases are removes, this causes a frame shift

what is duplication mutation ?

one or more bases are repeated, this will cause a frame shift but could also result in increasing repeating subunits & cause genetic diseases

what is translocation mutation ?

a sequence of bases is moved from one location in the genome to another

• this could be movement within the same chromosome or to a different chromosomes
