• Part outline (Heavy solid straight line)

• Section lines (light solid straight line)

• Hidden lines (Medium dashed line)

• Center lines (Light alternating sized dash line)

• Dimension & extension line (light solid straight line with number length either above or embedded)

• Cutting plane (Heavy alternating sized dash line)

• Break line (light line with zigzag or heavy line with bumps)

Line weight

• Outlines of section cuts are very thick

• Visible objects/edges are thick

• Hidden objects/edges are medium

• Non-physical (imaginary) objects are thin

• Hatches are very thin
