Natural Numbers
these are the counting numbers, starting from 1 91,2,3,4,…)
whole numbers
these include natural numbers and zero (0,1,2,3,…)
Integers
these include all positive and negative whole numbers, including zero (…-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3…)
Rational Numbers
These can be expressed as a fraction of two integers, such as 1/22,3/4, or -2/5.
irrational numbers
these cannot be expressed as a fraction of two integers, such as pi or the square root of 2.
real numbers
this set includes all rational and irrational numbers
