Restraint
The restriction of an animal's activity by verbal, physical, or pharmacologic means so the animal is prevented from injuring itself or others.
Indications for Restraint
To control an animal so that it can receive medical care; To prevent the animal from harming itself while it is receiving medical care; To protect personnel.
Physical Examination
A systematic assessment of an animal's health status.
Medical Records Importance
If it is not in the medical records, then it did not happen!
