seated postural assessment
looking at the ear lobe, acromion process, and greater trochanter. determining if there is a curvature. Also, consider the lower extremity. Are their knees at 90 degrees? Are their feet touching the ground?
lateral postural assessment
looking at the earlobe, acromion process, lumbar spine, greater trochanter, posterior to patella, and anterior to the lateral malleolus
anterior postural assessment
facial symmetry, acromion process, ASIS, greater trochanter, lateral femoral epicondyle, and lateral malleolus
posterior postural assessment
mastoid process, acromion processes, inferior angle of scapula, PSIS, greater trochanter, and lateral malleolus
standing postural assessment
consider the anterior, posterior, and lateral assessments to determine if their is any asymmetry in their posture
