Acceleration
The rate at which velocity changes.
Speed
Rate of motion; The distance traveled in a certain amount of time.
Position
The location of an object.
Reference Point
A location to which you compare other locations.
Motion
The change of position over time.
Net Force
The overall force acting on an object when all forces are combined.
Force
A force that can change the motion of an object; A push or a pull.
Inertia
The resistance of an object to a change in speed or direction.
Kinetic Energy
The energy of a moving object.
Conservation of Energy
Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it may be transferred.
Gravity
The force that makes an object roll downhill.
Friction
The force that resists objects rolling downhill.
