this can suggest that Khrushchev’s rehabilitation of prisoners has been successful

classical music of western europe and the us was put back on the curriculum in schools (taken off by stalin) in 1957!

after the final thaw (1961-62 ish) there was a final freeze whereby freedom of expression had passed the limit which the gov was willing to tolerate

led to the arrest and imprisonment of several artists
