Range + Threshold (3:3)

-range = how far people will travel to a city
--small range = local shop, bought frequently, small range of goods
--large range = hospital, visited infrequently, large variety of services
-threshold = the min. no of people needed to keep a business running
--low threshold = local shop, not many people go, but usually daily
--high threshold = jewllers, many people go, but not usually daily
