Deontological

Using rules to distinguish what is right from what is wrong

Teleological

using outcomes to distinguish whether something is right or something is wrong.

Absolutism

Rules should apply to all people, paces and times

Relativism

Rules should be flexible to deal with particular situations

Cultural Relativism

Idea that there are no truths in ethics anf that what is deemed right or wrong varied depending on culture therefore we must be tolerant to the codes of other societies
