• Extrapyramidal Symptoms (EPS)

  • Restlessness, anxiety, spasms of face & neck, arms

• Hypotension

• Sedation

• Anticholinergic Effects

interactions

• Same as ondansetron

• CNS depressants

• Antihypertensives meds

• Anticholinergic meds

Nursing considerations

• Increase fluid intake

• Increase physical activity

• Suck on hard candy or chew gum

• Administer laxative

• Empty bladder every 4 hours

• Photosensitivity
