Water pump

Mechanical device or plumbing equipment that moves, transfers, conveys, lifts, circulates, or pressurizes water in a system of pipes, devices, or vessels.

Centrifugal pump

Type of dynamic pressure pump that contains an impeller mounted on a rotating shaft.

Axial flow

Type of dynamic pressure pump, also known as a propeller pump, where the flow of liquid is at a right angle from suction to discharge.

Turbine pump

Type of dynamic pressure pump with a vertical turbine located below groundwater levels and a driving motor located higher up.

Jet pump

Type of dynamic pressure pump, also called an ejector pump, where a venturi tube is added to the centrifugal pump.

Submersible pump

Type of dynamic pressure pump where the motor can be submerged along with the turbine without damage to itself or the internal components.

Reciprocating pump

Type of positive displacement pump with a plunger that moves back and forth within a cylinder equipped with check valves.

Piston pump

Type of positive displacement pump with a piston inside the cylinder and a high-pressure seal, causing liquid or fluid to move or compress air in a reciprocating motion.

Diaphragm pump

Type of positive displacement pump, also known as a membrane pump, that utilizes the reciprocating motion of a thermoplastic, rubber, or Teflon diaphragm and valves.

Rotary pump

Type of positive displacement pump with a helical or spiral rotor, turning within a rubber sleeve.
