Ruler Postulate

The points on any line or line segment can be put into one-to-one correspondence with real numbers.

is the absolute value of the difference between the points coordinates

Protractor Postulate

any angle can be put into one-to-one correspondence with real numbers between 0 and 180.

acute angle

an angle that measures less than 90 degrees

obtuse angle

An angle that measures more than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees

right angle

an angle that measures 90 degrees

straight angle

an angle that measures 180 degrees
