Multi-Party System = a number of parties contend to form a government
Representation = Weaker Argument: Allows Representation of a Range of Views
Eg. Reform UK who adopt far right views that reducing immigration to the UK, supporting low taxation, and opposing LGBTQ+ education or the Liberal Democrats who adopt centre left views that support welfare capitalism, social justice, liberal internationalism, and multiculturalism
This promotes a democratic processes and large amount of representation
Representation = Stronger Argument: Puts Restrictions on the Amount of Extremist that Enter Government
Governing Process = Weaker Argument: Can Hold Significant Influence when Forming Legislation
Governing Process = Stronger Argument: Speeds Up the Governing Process
Participation = Weaker Argument: Increases Participation from General Public
