Clergy
Ordained roles within the Church which are divided into three main orders: bishops, priests, and deacons.
Laity

Consecrated Religious
Someone who has dedicated their life to the Church, following a religious order or congregation
Saint
a person on Earth who follows Christ
a person in heaven (in full communion w/ God)
Heaven
a state/place of total communion with the Trinity. The Beatific Vision → seeing God face to face
Hell
eternal existence of isolation and complete loss of communion with God and each other, separation from God
Purgatory
the burning and purifying love of God, we are purified of any remaining attachments to sin

The saints in Heaven, the souls in purgatory, and the faithful on earth. We support each other by praying for each other, service, and shared faith
Does Jesus talk about heaven, hell, and purgatory?
Yes, He describes Heaven as the ultimate goal, hell as the place of eternal torment, and hints at purgatory, saying you are taken to a prison and are not released until the last penny is paid (Matthew 5-7)
