Rays and batoids
are cartilaginous fish with flattened bodies
Skates
are non venomous rays with long noses and have dorsal fins near the tip of the tail and lay eggs
Electric rays
electric rays stun or kill their prey with an electric charge generated by special organs located behind each eye
