Person time: Total amount of time subjects are enrolled in the trial

Rate = Number of events/ person time
Describe a Kaplan-Meier plot
•Step down when events occur

Describe a log rank plot
H0= Survival probability is equal in both groups
HA: survival probability is different between the groups
CROSSING OVER means not statistically significant
