World War II

Veteran
A person who has served in the military.
Remembrance
The act of remembering or honoring someone or something.
Victory march
A parade or procession celebrating a victory.
Sole survivor
The only person who remains alive from a particular group or situation.
Battalion
A military unit composed of several companies, typically commanded by a lieutenant colonel.
