How does Universal system works ?

Primary teeth :

• Maxillary : A through J

• Mandibular K to T

Permanent teeth :

• Maxillary : 1 to 16

• Mandibular : 17 to 32

How does Palmer system works ?

Primary teeth :

• Maxillary & Mandibular : A through E starting at the midline (incisors)

Permanent teeth :

• Maxillary & Mandibular : 1 through 8 starting at the midline (incisors)

THE NUMBER OF THE TOOTH IS WRITTEN IN AN ANGLE ACCORDING TO THE QUADRANT IT IS IN
